Finish A Long Quarter 2 2017

I told myself I wasn't going to do any more goal setting this year, I link up at the beginning and always forget about the end!  My workflow has been pretty poor though, it's not that I don't want to stitch, just that I have had so little time this year.  I have now decided more effort is needed so I'm back on the waggon and joining in for Quarter 2.

So, here is my list.  I think it's realistic and it's doable in three months isn't it?  Two big things and two small things.  Not much variation for me but I will be so very happy if I get this lot out of the way and maybe start something new, so here goes.
1

Quilt and bind the not a mystery any more quilt, it should have been finished last month.

2

Layer quilt and bind circles.  I know what you are going to say and yes it is ridiculous I haven't done it yet but that's just the way it is.

3

Layer, quilt, and bind these cushion tops.  They have been waiting such a long time, I scrolled so far back in the blog pics to find them I started to think I had deleted them by mistake.

4

Bind these mug rugs, STILL waiting.  I have a lot more waiting than this, some need to be layered and quilted, but I have to make a start on a few at a time.

That's all, I will be ecstatic if I get them all done AND remember to link up, so don't be afraid to give me a kick when the time gets close, I will probably need it.

Smiles from,
Kate x

  1. Hi Kate: It's a great list and yes I recognize some of the things on it but that only means you've been working on them recently...don't push yourself too hard. Just have fun!

  3. Kate, if you don't have the time, you don't have the time! If you feel pressured, it won't be fun anymore. If it isn't fun, you won't want to do it! I think your goals a very doable, though! Good luck in accomplishing them. Big hugs!

  5. I'm sure it helps to list WIPs and your list seems doable. (I do have experience with countless WIPs to work on at the same time hahaha). Good luck with your goals Kate !

  6. OK, what do I need to do to get my hands on that mug rug? Just need one. I recognize your projects. Seeing them again is like seeing an old friend again :-)I am not participating in the Quarterly Finish Alongs. That leaves me free to chase any crazy idea that happens to come by to tempt me :-D

  7. I love those Russian nesting dolls! Did you design them yourself, or use a pattern? Their little smiles are so cheerful :)

  11. You reminded me that I should write up my Q2 post...talked to Tish about it last night, and forgot this am! Love your mystery quilt; mine is still not sewn together as I was disappointed that my BG2 was so light, but seeing yours and a few of the others' has made me think it might be okay yet. LOVE the circles quilt! and those mug rugs are adorable.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and leave a comment, it helps me grow as a quilter and as a blogger. It also makes me very happy :)
I try to respond to all comments by email, but if I don't reply within a few days it may be because you are a no reply blogger
