It is over. Like a mother who has battled to deliver her child against all the odds today I have delivered, Bluebell Woods. Bluebell is magnificent, in the way every mother thinks of her newborn child, perfect, and looks just how I imagined.
I cannot show you a photograph, for that I apologise, but Bluebell will be fully revealed in all her glory next week in the 2016 New Quilt Bloggers Blog Hop. However, I did promise you a photograph and so I will honour that promise with one of the top of her head.
Next week I will also bring news of my circles quilt.
No it is not finished, this will be more of a progress report, just in case you thought I had forgotten it.
I am linking up with Pink Doxies for the June Brave Quilter, I have a paper pieced rather large elephant in several pieces as part of a UFO. It's another one I would like to put to bed.
Until then dear friends I bid you adieu,
parting is such sweet sorrow,
Kate (with giggles)

Kate, you have the best sense of humor!! At first glance I was concerned, thinking that Blue Bell turned out so horrendous that you burned it and we would never gaze upon it. Now I see that you are just making us wait. That is fine - Good things are always worth waiting for. I think you are so funny - and yes, mother's always think their newborns are perfect and sometimes, only a mother could think that. Specifically thinking of those squished tiny heads after battling the birth canal. :-)
ReplyDeleteI look forward to the big reveal of Bluebell as well as progress on your circles quilt. :-)
You are such a tease - we need more than her head!!! And I love the circles. Look forward to visiting next week. x
